They were shooting at the NYU campus, we only found out because of the correctly spelled announcments of NYPD which where everywhere:

It was totally boring to watch... It was going like:
"Moving","MOVING","MOVING"
*three guys run through the rain, somebody shouts something
"cut", "cut"
Anyways, nice to see something done - the rainmaker machine was pretty cool. Maybe we could borrow a "schneekanone" during summer for our movies...
